Everyone knows Garmin, right? Your trusted guide to make sure you don’t get lost on the road. To make sure you reach your destination on time. Well, Garmin is also your trusted guide to make sure your fishing trips are always successful.

And by successful, we mean you run out of space to store all the fish you caught. Garmin fish finders are some of the most straightforward and accurate fish finders there are – and the echo 200 is no exception.

EASY FISH FINDING

The Garmin Echo 200 is your eyes underwater! With 300W of RMS transmit power, paired with dual frequencies of 77 kHz and 200 kHz, you can see down to depths of 1000 feet with ease in freshwater. In saltwater, your readings will be a little shallower – around 500 feet.

Garmin’s HD-ID technology takes all the guesswork out of interpreting complicated fish arches and echoes – using a powerful software system, the Echo 200 will determine which echoes are most likely fish and show them to you on the screen – which makes it a great starter model for beginners that are just getting their feet wet with fish finders.

HIGH SPEED READINGS

Garmin fish finders have a neat little trick up their sleeves called “UltraScroll.†This lets you get good quality readings, even at very high speeds – some fishermen have reported seeing awesome results at up to 30 knots.

As you are moving fast along the water, you will be able to see good bottom and structure readings – which is perfect for finding out where fish are probably hanging around.

If you missed something, you can simply scroll back into the SONAR history – the Garmin echo 200 records all SONAR readings.

5 INCH SCREEN FOR LESS THAN $200

The Garmin echo 200 boasts a sharp 5-inch grayscale screen. 5 inches is the “Goldilocks range†when it comes to fish finder screen sizes. It’s not too tiny that you have to strain your eyes to see anything, and it’s not too big that you won’t be able to fit it on a smaller boat. It’s just right!

For less than $200, the value you get with this unit is amazing. You get the larger screen size of higher end models, combined with the simplicity of beginner models.

Whether you fish for fun, run a charter, or fish in small tournaments, the echo 200 will outperform your expectations!

STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION

The Garmin echo 200 is incredibly easy to install – a quick-release mount can be fit on the boat in just a few minutes, and the transom mount transducer is very easy to install – just screw it on and you are good to go! Alternatively, you can also mount it on your trolling motor with a clamp – even easier!

Note – the included transducer cable is 20 feet long.
